The history of Torres y Ribelles
Torres y Ribelles was founded in 1914 and is located in the historic center of the city of Seville.
In the early years, our efforts bore fruit, resulting in products of excellent quality and consumer recognition, making us suppliers to the Royal Household during the reign of His Majesty King Alfonso XIII.
The first exports began in 1917, and with the celebration of the Ibero-American Exposition in Seville in 1929, we established a strong position in the Spanish-American market, laying the foundations for the export culture that defines our company today.
A new era
In 1991, we moved from the center of Seville to modern facilities in Dos Hermanas in line with the company’s growth. Over the years, new warehouses have been built, new production lines have been acquired and improved, storage capacity has been expanded, and constant investment has been made in machinery to ensure that the facilities are among the most modern in the sector.
All these investments are aimed at achieving excellent quality products to satisfy our consumers.
The best quality
To guarantee the quality of our products, we have a Quality Department responsible for:
Review of each of the materials that make up the product (glass bottles, PET, tin containers, caps, labels, etc.).
Prepare batches with the best extra virgin olive oils that make up our blend of Picual, Arbequina, and Hojiblanca olive varieties.
Ensuring that every final product meets our high quality standards, which is why we use state-of-the-art artificial vision equipment.
We ensure that all final products meet our high quality standards, which is why we use state-of-the-art machine vision equipment. These are stored in stainless steel tanks that keep our oils at a temperature between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius.

From Seville to the world
We have a packaging capacity of around 150,000 liters in an 8-hour workday.
All our products are manufactured in Seville (Dos Hermanas), from where they are exported to the different countries where we currently operate in Europe, America, Asia, and Africa.

Torres y Ribelles sells extra virgin olive oil, olive oil, pomace oil, blended oil (extra virgin and sunflower), extra virgin olive oil with natural flavors (garlic; garlic and chili pepper; black pepper and lemon; oregano; truffle) and vinegars (balsamic, red wine; white wine; balsamic cream).
