ChineBETIS Olive Oil, awarded in an olive oil competition.
Sometimes our partners abroad motivate us to compete in some awards to test the quality of our oils, as a claim that can be used to differentiate BETIS from competitors and get more sales in their countries.
In order to satisfy this demand, we decided to participate in the 12th Edition of the Mezquita awards last month.
These awards were organized by the Cordoba provincial council. Cordoba is the 2nd biggest province producer of olive oil in Spain, after Jaen.
The goal of this competition is to reward the quality of the oils in Andalusia, promote the excellence of the products and encourage the consumption of the best olive oils all over the world.
BETIS Olive Oil was awarded in this competition with 97 scores (100 points is the maximum) and we won the "Gran Mezquita" and a "Mención especial frutado verde amargo" which, from now on, will be a new guarantee of the quality or our oils.
